Introduction

Certainly! Here's a comprehensive review and recommendation for the Coursera course "Unofficial PCIP Practice Tests - Based on PCI DSS Version 4": --- **Review of "Unofficial PCIP Practice Tests - Based on PCI DSS Version 4"** If you are preparing for the PCI Professional (PCIP) certification, this course offers a valuable resource tailored specifically to your needs. The creator, having personally used these practice tests during their own certification journey, has developed a set of high-quality, targeted questions that mirror the exam's format and focus on the latest PCI DSS Version 4 requirements. The course provides a series of practice tests designed to boost your confidence and knowledge. These tests feature multiple-choice questions that cover a broad spectrum of topics essential for the PCIP exam, including recent updates and changes introduced in Version 4. The questions are thoughtfully crafted to include varying levels of difficulty, ensuring learners can build a strong foundational understanding while challenging themselves with more complex scenarios. Notably, Practice Test 3 is the most challenging, making it an excellent tool for deepening your mastery of the material. One of the standout features of this course is the emphasis on understanding how often specific processes or requirements need to be performed. Some questions are intentionally repeated with slight rewording to reinforce key points, encouraging learners to revisit and solidify their knowledge. The exam simulation closely aligns with the real test, comprising 75 questions to be answered within 90 minutes, providing learners with practical experience in managing their time effectively. While there is no formal syllabus, the course compensates by focusing solely on exam-relevant content. This makes it particularly useful for self-directed learners who prefer targeted practice rather than broad theoretical learning. **Recommendation** For anyone serious about obtaining their PCIP certification, these unofficial practice tests are an excellent supplementary resource. They fill a significant gap by providing realistic, high-quality questions that prepare you for the actual exam environment. The creator’s personal experience and intention to help others succeed shine through, making this course a trusted tool to enhance your study plan. Overview

After self studying to gain my PCI-Professional accreditation, I found there was a gap when it came to good quality practice tests that centred around the PCIP specifically. I actually used these tests for my own preparation and made use of this portal to format them into multiple choice that I could refer too. I have now decided to publish them.I have designed these tests to help anyone preparing to gain this accreditation and to hopefully provide questions that are in keeping with what is considered in scope when it comes to studying for the PCIP. My goal is to help learners feel more confident by providing questions that will help them ensure they have covered various topics/requirements.The questions are designed around the new PCI DSS version 4 requirements and ask specific questions around some of the changes that have recently come into affect. Please be aware that the questions vary in regards to difficulty and this has been purposely done to ensure fundamentals of knowledge are included. I would rate each test as slightly different levels of difficulty, with practice test 3 being the hardest. I am aware that there are some duplicate questions which have different wording and/or possible answers, this has been done to ensure key points (especially around how often something is done) are remembered. My personal advice is to go over these multiple times as revision. The tests included are designed to replicate the format of the real exam, which means there are 75 questions and a 90 minute timer.Regardless of whether you are using these tests to help you prepare. I wish anyone undertaking this accreditation good luck!
