Overview

This course is for city planning professionals (from graduate to executive). It will expose you to a wide spectrum of City Planning datasets and give you a taste for how we use data for decision-making in a transport and land use context.It includes:- the ideas and concepts about why we need data,- the anatomy of individual transport and land use datasets,- data visualisation,- international data applications (various examples from London), and- unpack the interplay between technology and city planning.
