Overview

This course is designed to help procurement & Supply Chain team understanding the supplier quality Assurance and how to set the policy in governing the relationship between the Enterprise & the suppliers. Therefore, the procurement/Supply Chain team will elevate the relationship with suppliers to go beyond 'just order" to where the Enterprise & Suppliers stakeholders are directly cooperating to boost the Enterprise dominance in the market. The procurement function in despite of its policy & management, it requires to manage its independent suppliers with policy, rules and procedures with a dedicated team called Supplier Quality Engineer beside the buying team. The success of the Enterprise's Supplier Quality Assurance will be reflected in their number of conducted Supplier Conference which be led by the Supplier Quality Team.The Supplier relationship is governed for better through an open & effective communication with supplier and this is the job Supplier Quality Team who will implement SQA policy. The Supplier will be responsible to manage all aspects relevant to the suppliers from managing the supplier's data base until the supplier categorizations. They will be take part in guiding the suppliers how to meet the Enterprise expectation and bring the best of suppliers.So, an example of Supplier Conference is demonstrated as first supplier conference ever made because it is actually a difficult activity because the concept is new requiring an intensive efforts & endured patience by the Supplier Quality Teams to carry out an orientation with Enterprise Stakeholders and the Suppliers and enforcing the policy with a lot of interaction. Afterwards where the Conference is meant for different agenda such as Awarding Suppliers will be easier because the foundation of Supplier Quality Assurance is already built, and the experience & knowledge maturity of supplier quality team is high.
