This course is designed to take your shell scripting skills to the next level. In this course, you will learn advanced techniques for shell scripting, including flow control, string manipulation, error handling, and regular expressions. You will also learn how to write complex scripts for automation, file management, and system administration tasks.The course will begin with a review of basic shell scripting concepts such as variables, loops, and conditionals. From there, we will dive deeper into more advanced topics such as functions, arrays, and associative arrays. You will learn how to use these concepts to write more efficient and effective scripts.Next, we will cover error-handling techniques such as exit codes, trap commands, and logging. You will learn how to write scripts that can detect and handle errors gracefully.We will also cover regular expressions, which are a powerful tool for pattern matching and text manipulation. You will learn how to use regular expressions in your shell scripts to search for and replace text, validate input, and perform other text-processing tasks.Throughout the course, you will work on real-world projects that will challenge you to apply your skills in practical ways. By the end of the course, you will have a deep understanding of advanced shell scripting techniques and be able to write complex scripts for a variety of tasks.Prerequisites: Students should have a basic understanding of shell scripting concepts such as variables, loops, and conditionals.
