PRINCE2 project management is a process-based approach focusing on organization and control over the whole project, from start to finish. That means projects are skillfully planned before kickoff; each stage is structured throughout and closes when the project concludes. Prince 2 belongs to a family of waterfall methodologies such as APMP and PMP, which focuses on a sequential way of planning a project. The PRINCE methodology was initially developed in the late 1980s as a way for the U.K. government to manage IT projects. In 1996, a team of project management specialists and public and private organizations reviewed and updated the approach to make it more widely applicable to various industries. Thus, the new and improved PRINCE2 was born.Purpose of the CourseThis course is intended to give you a birds-eye view of the Prince2 processesBy the end of this course, you will understand how the purpose of each Prince2 and how they interact with one anotherYou will be able to create and understand the process map and how to use it in a project.Course OutlineFundamentals of prince2 ProcessesPrince 2 processes and their purposePre-projectStarting up a project processDirecting a Project ProcessInitiating a Project ProcessManaging stage boundaryControlling a stageManaging product deliveryClosing a project processPre-requisite for the courseThere is no pre-requisite for the courseWho is the course forThis course is directed at those currently engaging in project management or wishing to embark on a project management career.Join the course and begin your Prince 2 journey
