まずは、車のイラストを描いていきます。まずネットで検索して車の画像やイラストをたくさん見て、大まかな形や色をつかんでください。普段から車ってよく見かけるので簡単に描けそうな気がしますけど、実はそんなにじっくり見てないんですね。あなたが車好きだったら違うかもしれないですけれども、それでも一応検索してみることをお勧めします。なぜかというと、いざ描き始めると手が止まるからです。よく分かってるつもりでも、各パーツごとの大きさの比率とか、位置関係とか、意外と理解できてないからですね。なので普通はちゃんと調べた上で、下書きをしていきます。下書き自体はかなり大雑把で構いません。下書きができたらもうほとんど完成したようなもので、あとはパーツごとに作成していくだけです。パーツと言ってもこの車のイラストの場合、作るのはタイヤとボディくらいなものですね。タイヤで学んでほしいことは、ホイール部分で三角形を円形に等間隔に並べるテクニックです。この等間隔にオブジェクトを並べるということはよくあるので、簡単ですし是非覚えてください。ボディの部分は長方形と台形を合体させるんですが、このオブジェクトの合体は色んなところで使います。合体させた後のパスの細かい調整も、ペンツール関係のいい練習になるかと思います。別にこの形の車でなくても構わないので、あなたの描きたい車を描いてみてください。－－－－－－－－－－－－もう１枚は、橋と街のイラストを描いていただきます。まずは橋とかビルとかの画像を自分で検索してもらって、そのあとにレクチャーと同じような感じで下書きを描いてみてください。橋の土台部分とかアーチ部分とか、やり方自体はすごく簡単で一瞬でできてしまうんですが、知らないとなかなか作成できません。レクチャーの中で詳しく作成方法を解説していますので、この機会に習得しましょう。そしてアーチを支えてる柱とか、柵の部分は、まず縦長の長方形オブジェクトを作ってからそれを等間隔に複製しています。後ろのビルなんですが、立体的になっているものも確認できると思います。Illustratorは二次元的な表現しかできないと思われがちなんですが、三次元的に空間を把握できるツールが用意されています。遠近グリッドツールという名前なんですが、このやり方を覚えれば立体的なものも簡単に作成できます。操作方法は難しくないので、あなたもレクチャーの解説を見れば必ず使えるようになります。海と空はグラデーションツールを使っています。それとスカイツリーのようなグレーと緑の塔が見えますが、そこでもグラデーションツールを活用しています。すごく使いやすいツールで説明するまでもないかもしれませんが、具体的に使用方法を語っています。レクチャー通りに手を動かしてもらえれば必ずあなたも作成できるので、一緒に描いていきましょう。
