Overview

In response to increased enforcement actions by the Department of Justice and the Securities and Exchange Commission against companies for violating the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act of 1977 (FCPA), companies - especially those with global business operations, including emerging markets - have stepped up their risk management program and rolled out training and compliance plans that are intended to mitigate their risk of FCPA violations.
