In this course, you will be introduce to Cisco Packet Tracer. Packet Tracer is an important network design, simulation and modelling tool from Cisco. Packet Tracer allows learners of networking courses to develop skill set needed in networking, cybersecurity, and the Internet of Things (IoT).Packet Tracer allows learners to create complex networking systems without the need for purchasing dedicated, and expensive equipment.Packet Tracer is also used across many Cisco Academy courses to help learners develop and assess their skill set that is needed for successful completion of the courses they are enrolled in.Cisco Packet Tracer is free software to Cisco Academy students. It helps learners to practice their network configuration and troubleshooting skills using their desktop computer or an Android or iOS based mobile device.
