User research and empathy building

This module focuses on the "Empathize" stage of the design thinking process. Learners will explore the importance of user research, various research methods, and how to build empathy with users through research data.

User needs assessment

This module focuses on Stage 2 ("Define") of the Design Thinking process, where we translate research insights into actionable user needs to guide design decisions.

Design ideation

This module dives into the creative exploration stage of the design thinking process – "Ideate." Here, learners will explore various techniques to generate a multitude of solutions based on the user needs identified in the previous module.

Storyboarding

This module dives into the world of translating user research and needs into clear communication tools and a well-structured information architecture.

Information architecture

This module dives into the world of translating user research and needs into clear communication tools and a well-structured information architecture. A three-hour training program will be outlined, incorporating various content formats to engage learners for a minimum of 45 minutes per lesson.

Overview

In this course, learners will analyze user needs and research and use those insights to make design choices. They will review design ideation techniques and use Design Thinking to generate create storyboards, user flow diagrams, and journey maps. Last, they will use information architecture principles to organize content for intuitive navigation.
